Welcome to the American Military Medal Groups website.
I have created this site for three main reasons.
First is to honor the service and preserve the legacies of the veterans whos artifacts are shown here. I saw a similar site and thought it was a great idea.
Second is to create a virtual museum of these pieces that are on loan to The National Leadership Foundation. The foundation is a 501c3 non profit educational foundation that focuses on leadership education and preserving the history of great American leaders.
Finally, it is to give people a reference archives of the types of award documents that would accompany medals.
From Black Eagle award documents to official copies of the citations this area will have examples of the reference documents.
